Celebrating 73rd Independence Day

Our Nation is celebrating 73rd Independence day, the expression of patriotism and nationalism is clearly seen on the dashboard of the cars or on the handles of the two wheelers. The Hawkers and vendors are selling Indian Flag to earn their livelihood. As it is national holiday or as profoundly known as bank holiday, employees are happy to enjoy one day off from their office chores. Students are happy to enjoy off day from the school.
Probably shops are closed as workers are not ready to work on holidays otherwise Owners of business ventures are ready to keep their work on.Schools carried out program of unfurling the Flag and saluting it on the beats of Janagana mana.Flipkart and amazon are cooking their food by offering Independence Day sale. On the other hand media unveiled the list of patriotic movies before one week. And above all there is less honking on streets as citizens are not commuting. Our Honorable Prime Minister delivered the speech on this auspicious occasion and senior citizens are eager to hear it, the Honorable Prime Minister doesn’t lose the opportunity to praise the accomplishments which are true up to which extent is unknown.
Everybody is trying to make some personal accomplishment from this day. Although this is a day where we should seek anything for our nation.
Independence was achieved by determination, what kind of determination we Indians are having after independence? Are we determined to fulfill our national duties?
Independence was obtained by sacrificing lives, are we ready to sacrifice anything for our nation? Nation building doest need lives. Working with honesty is enough rather than sacrifice.
Independence was possible because of collective voluntary effort of our freedom fighters, are we ready to come together for any good cause which is beneficial for our citizens and nation?
If we have placed any single brick for the welfare of nation, then only celebrating Independence Day give us meaning otherwise it’s just an off day for our relaxation. Thank you
