A tribute to a unique trailblazer.

The value of a person is realized when he bids adieu to the heavenly abode. The same was observed when Al had al Farqad al Azhar Badrul jamali bhai Saheb passed away on 19th May 2021.

We did not know about his association with several Idaraat of Dawat and his influence over a substantial amount of people, but after his demise. Also, we were not aware of his astounding impressions and remarkable influences which led the right way for a sizeable amount of people only when they narrated their experiences with him.

He was a notable performer on field.

 My first encounter with this personality was during the auspicious inauguration of Qubba Mubaraka of Syedna Noor Mohammed Nuruddin RA. The vicinity of Qubba campus was swamped with a huge amount of Mumeneen, all eagerly waiting for ziyarat and applying every influence available to them to complete ziyarat as quickly as possible. When no management personnel accumulated courage to maintain the discipline for organizing ziyarat queue, he single handedly organized a smooth passage for ziyarat without favoring anyone to disturb the discipline. This was the attribute of his remarkable personality. If he announces anything amidst the congestion of the people, the ripple of his words will easily reach the end. I observed keenly how he successfully managed to control the situation by his utter sense of management. His dedication to remain firm under this type of trying situation is the best of examples for all those who perform this Khidmat.

He was Al Jamea’s core event manager.

We will never forget his charismatic personality in organizing Al-Jamea’s events. Especially during Al Imtehaan al Tahriri and Al Imtehaan al Shafahi preparations, his directions and exceptional guidance played a key role of boosting confidence and trust in working individuals.

The hurdles were like an opportunity for him. I remember one instance when accommodation for talabat was unavailable according to the desired status of Imtehaan. He made his stand clear that “I am not ready to accept anything below the top notch quality accommodation”. These words were enough to open the door of opportunities for those who were despaired at that particular stage of work. He always had a frame work ready in his mind with multiple options beyond the imagination of the individuals who are working on the field. We can say he was having a tendency to look a project from an eagle’s eye.

During Imtehaan days, one could always find him at every nook of the venue. He used to sit last in mawaid and have an attribute to discuss the matter with every section of society to get direct feedback and enhance the services provided during this event. Al Mawaid which is not only a place where a talabat relishes and enjoys a nutritious meal; but also it’s a sacred place for them where they are invited to sit on the ma’edat of ‘ale mohammed and are blessed to eat and obtain barakaat.  At the commencement of tilawat al qasaid preceding the shafahi imtehaan, which is a paragon ritual of this event, we will miss a person distributing and collecting the pasteboard from Omara al Jamea AM printed with specific amount of verses to be recited at every congregation.

His skill of exploring new ideas was quite evident in the movement of Hifz al Quran al Kareem

He was the trailblazer for many ideas which are successfully implemented and practiced presently. Earlier these ideas and notions were presumed to not have the potential to run successfully for a long period of time. From his many ideas, one such was the movement of hifz al Quran al Kareem. The quality to understand the beckon of Maula TUS and stand by it in no time was quite evident in his work ethics. Syedna Aali Qadr Mufaddal Saifuddin Aqa TUS trusted him in this movement and he attended several hifz ikhtebaar during the initial years.

One more such initiative was the idea of developing the system of ITS earlier known as ejamaat. He was one of the pioneers in bringing out this vision for our community. We are now able to reap its fruits which has brought mumineen under one roof and take advantage through it.

How can his significant role in organizing annual Hifz program be forgotten?

During Imtehan, Huffaz Kiram who have completed memorization of entire Quran and successfully passed the ikhtebaar are felicitated with the Shahadat of “Hifz al Quran al Kareem”.  His sheer motive in this program was to organize an event every year which should leave a mark in history. Also, he used to emphasize that because of the unfathomable stature of Maula TUS the traces of this program should remain in history.  I remember one incident when he faced all odds and brought Maula TUS closer to each and every hafiz, where he organized Maula’s Tus passage between huffaz and every single hafiz was blessed with the deedar and nazar mubarak of Aqa Maula TUS. He was also the torch bearer for establishing the ritual of Maukib for huffaz. This is also a unique event in itself.

These are some of the glimpses from the life of a decisive and strong willed personality.
