Students and online classes

   The current Pandemic has given a long vacation to students. The government is still not able to clear the air, regarding, when the schools will start working normally. But online classes are currently conducted amidst the mixed reactions. A big number of people are in favour of it, and a handful of people are juggling to decide whether it’s proper for their child or not. 
But what students are doing?We have seen a few students unleashing their potential by utilizing their talent in making mind maps, PPTs, videos, searching for their favourite subjects, etc.Also, we have observed a drastic change in some students who can even not recite a single ayat properly have memorized the whole juz with great perfection in Ahkaam and Makhaarij. Some have overcome the fear of ikhtebaar and passed with surprising results. These students are true learners who know the need of the hour.

And on the other hand, we have also observed a few students complaining of connectivity, complaining of not having a compatible mobile device, and giving unconfined excuses for missing their classes or deadlines for assignments. 

• Dear students, You are the new age students, grab the opportunity, and break the ice and kick-off to achieve your goals. 
• Dear students, you are fortunate enough to search for anything you want. Information is just on your fingertips. Use it for typing your curriculum rather than typing such things that can hinder your mental and physical state. Don’t waste your time just by searching for improper and inappropriate stuff.

How to remain sharp-eyed?Each passing day is giving us enough evidence which shows how kids are falling prey to social media. If a parent refuses and caps a screen time up to a certain limit, students get furious and upset up to a level, where they think only suicide will rescue them. Some have already taken the extreme step and some are threatening their parents to harm themselves.

You don’t know how much you are exposed to the virtual world. No matter how much your parents will try to monitor your online activities, you know how to easily dodge them. They are sometimes unaware of, how afar you have gone, though they are living beside you. Each and every information is exposed to the world no matter how much it’s password protected. 
Take the responsibility of your future in your hand. You know how much potential this information technology has; either it can take you beyond your imagination or expectation if you utilize it in the right direction, or it can harm you beyond your visualization. The worst part of this trap is, the enormity of the loss is not presumed unless you fall in that pit.Once schools will reopen you will miss your phone. You will miss social media. you will miss the groups which you have created during the lockdown. Try to make most of it before you lose it. Steering of your own self, during searching anything on social media, should behold properly, otherwise, you can take your self inside the no-entry zone and the consequences you will face will traumatize you. How to smartly use the knowledge which is easily available?Once again I would like to draw your attention that you are the students of advanced age. Knowledge is totally available but comprehending it is the challenge. You type a topic and the n number of search results are available. To define a subject, boundless lines are written. Now, the challenge is, you have to find the meaning which is hidden between the lines. That requires pondering and deep thinking.

Gathering information is just cut and paste, but analyzing it and inferring with proper reason will make it more valuable. Best of luck and build a future where you can feel proud of yourselves.
