One persona of such kind is the persona of Ameer Al Jamea al Muqaddas Syedi Yusuf Bhai saheb Najmuddin saheb QR. Those who are fortunate enough to witness him live cannot forget his charismatic personality. And those who didn’t get the opportunity to witness him live and are lucky enough to listen to his recorded voice; are undoubtedly, readily submitting themselves to his invincible words even today.
Many prominent personalities around the globe who met him just once still can’t forget his candid words. His participation in potent community events like; al Multaqa al Fatemi al Ilmi, restoration and revival of al Jame al Anwar to name a few, is beyond imagination.
His ability to embrace the beckon of Maula TUS in no time made him distinct from the rest. His most remarkable trait was to bring Mumeneen nearer and closer to Maula TUS. In this article, I would try to cite an example in this regard. As the rector of al Jamea tus saifiyah, he was always hunting and searching to add laurels to it. Although, the bliss and radiance this university is having is incomparable, because of the ignorance from a few ill-intenders who tried to defame its sacred stature, his roar in retaliation calmed all the speculations which they brewed against this institution.
Admission of Sk Mustafa bhai in al Jamea tus Saifiyah.
Ameer ul Jamea al Muqaddas QA selected individuals across the globe and convinced them to pursue their studies in al Jamea. From those who he had selected, Al Mohtaram Janab Sk Mustafa bhai Sk Dawood bhai Currim was the one who is the most renowned and profound personality. His family had a special connection with Ameer al Jamea QR.
Janab Sk Mustafa bhai entered al Jamea in 1398 Hijri and completed eleven splendid years. His bold and challenging attitude made him exceptional from the rest. The sport-loving man with an interest in cricket and actively taking part in it molded him into a versatile personality; who loves to face and accept challenges. He was keen on participating wholeheartedly in curricular and extra-curricular activities. One of his participation in the giant exhibition (معرض) which was held on the auspicious occasion of المناسبتين الكريمتين celebration of 100th Salgirah Mubarakah of Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA and 1400th Milad Mubarak of Maulana al Imam al Husain SA was truly acknowledged. His whole class participated actively in this exhibition.
Joining al Jame al Azhar for further studies.
On completing eleven years in al Jamea he was selected to pursue further studies in al Qahera. His colleagues observed that he was anxious about collecting and reading books. During his stay in al Qahera he regularly managed to visit the annual book fair/exhibition every year. Also, his fellow companions said that the trait of reading books was quite evident in him. After completing studies in al Qahera he stayed there as directed, and engaged himself in the affairs commanded to him. Especially, he was entrusted to look after the conservation and the maintenance of the al Jawame al Fatemiyah. He had a habit of writing notes by which he was able to complete the tasks on multiple fronts. Also, he was always keen to take care of the meals of every individual associated with him.
Joining Khidmat
Upon return from al Qahera he joined Badri Mahal Mahad al Zahra Al Jamea office. Now his journey towards a new entity began. He emerged as one of the eminent and distinguished individual of Al Jamea office. His utter interest in immediately attending and resolving issues and matters related to Khidmat Guzars made him earn for himself esteem and respect. There are several Khidmat Guzars who cannot forget their pleasant experiences with him. I would earnestly request the readers to share their experience with him in the comment section of this blog.
I still remember him how he always walked behind Shehzada Jafer us Sadiq bs Imaduddin Saheb DM in a sheer hurry along with attending those who greet him or raise any concern to him.
His association with Shehzada Imaduddin Saheb DM doesn’t require any explanation. But he has always utilized this favor for the welfare of all.
He never tried, to even unconsciously harm anyone by this exceptional association he was having with Shehzada Saheb DM. Furthermore, Shehzada Taha Bs Najmuddin Saheb Dm and Shehzada Husain Bs Burhanuddin Saheb Dm regularly confided him about any confidential matters related to Khidmat and Khidmat Guzars.
He was a light-hearted person, always eager to engage himself in his chores only. If any issue arose between him and any other Khidmat Guzar, he promptly tried to resolve it. He tried his best to keep himself away from any grudges or prejudices when dealing with official and Khidmat affairs. His distinctive trait was, conveying the instructions with the utmost care. Those who don’t comply with the system, and require any rebuke; he used to deal with his unique style. All the above attributes were once acknowledged by al Dai al Ajal Syedna Aali Qadr Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS. Few distinctive glimpses of his life with Aqa Maula TUS which can’t be discussed in the public domain, show’s how extraordinary NAZAR of Aqa Muala TUS was upon him. Just to sum up, all I can say, he was one of the most trusted Khidmat Guzar of Aqa Maula’s caravan. Let me grab the opportunity to pray that may Allah grant us the strength to inculcate these attributes in our self which can help us to divert Aqa Maula TUS NAZARAT towards us.
Office hours.
I would again tenderly request respected Khidmat Guzars of al Jamea office Badri Mahal to add glimpses of Janab’s life about spending hours in the office. The time spent in office by him was extremely exceptional. Falling asleep late, waking up early, and remaining awake for stretched and prolonged hours are his indispensable quality. The term 24*7 availability for the cause of khidmat will make justice to his personality.
Family life
A lot of articles are written on, how to balance personal and professional life? Upon observing Janab’s life one can easily infer that he has given limited time to his family life. But on the contrary, his family says that the time we spent with him was quality time for them. They also add that the values he ingrained in us don’t allow us to complain of less time he spent with us. His capacity to target the problem in his family and resolve it immediately without hatred and bitterness was truly exceptional.
Bereavement
Let’s begin this segment with the revered words of Ameer al Jamea Syedi Yusuf bhai saheb Najmuddin saheb Dm.
The benedictions showered on him during his departure for the hereafter, by Aqa maula TUS, increase his eminence and bliss.
On 1st Zialqada til haram 1437 hijri after having lunch at Dodoma Janab with other four Khidmat guzar’s including doctor who was driving the car, started their journey towards the destination. After some time, before maghrib the car met with an accident; the car jumped in the air and moved in circle two times and banged to the tree. Everybody came out with more or fewer bruises and injuries. They realized that Sk Mustafa bhai was missing and they started to search for him. They found that he was lying just at a distance of the accident site. His right shoulder was dislocated and he was in severe pain.
One more vehicle which was behind them, going to the same destination, was stopped and Sk Mustafa bhai was hauled towards the Hospital. Owing to the small town, proper medical aid required for this type of accident was not available. After giving painkillers and little necessary assistance he was taken in another vehicle towards the destination. He was suggested that advance and adequate medical facilities are also available, but at a distance. And they are between their destination and the hospital. He insisted to take him towards Aqa Maula TUS only.
On reaching the destination after 11pm in the night he refused to do Araz to Aqa Maula TUS. He was directly taken to the medical camp and Doctors attended him. He was constantly complaining about his troublesome breathing to the doctor and Sk Husain bhai Ratlamwala who is Janab’s one of the trusted and confidante individual. After 12am, 2nd night of zilaqada til haram he passed away under the pious shadow of Aqa Maula TUS. Aqa Maula TUS arrived and interceded him by standing beside him and putting HIS sacred hand on janab’s chest.
All arrangements were made, though the limited resources were available. Aqa Maula TUS, by himself, lead Janaza Namaz, and Janabs body was taken to Darussalam for Dafan.
After his sad demise, people cited their experiences with him. Many of such instances were unknown till now. He was habitual to hide his good and benevolent deeds. May Allah bestow him his revered blessings in heaven by the wasila Mubaraka of Aqa Maula TUS. And grant our beloved Aqa Maula TUS a healthy and prosperous long life till the day of judgment. Ameen.

15) Happened in Colombo I reached for pehli raat maqdam got the Sharaf of Qadambosi. Did my araz for sabaq I was told by ishara talk to Sh Mustafa bhai Curim.. the next day Friday after namaz and Misaaq majlis back to my living quarters in Colombo I got the pleasant call from Janab Sh Mustafa bhai Shz saab nu sabaq in 15mins… His focused energies his ready easy smile.. 19) This post is so soothing. Since the day I got the news about Janab’s passing away, I really had bad feeling. I am so happy to see this post. Ewu laage che ke Janab saathe time spend karwa milu. Firstly I have interacted with janab for a few seconds in my life but since I met him I swear I have thought of him every now and then. Janab nu nature, itna ohda na saheb, lekin mey kai bhi nai faqat adna mumin lekin maaru kaam karawi aapu goya mey koi ehna dil na qareeb hou.
